A large part of our business here at Rock Tool is detail and fixture work. Rock Tool has a large and modern machine shop with the ability to manufacture all kinds of special details, perishable tooling, special fixtures and jigs. Our shop includes the normal tool room lathes and Bridgeport milling machines but we also have an extensive precision grinding department, several precision CNC Machining Centers, CNC Lathes, a boring mill and a CNC Wire EDM Machine. We have a welding department fully equipped to meet any of your needs. Our skilled machinists can produce accurate and cost effective parts for your existing machines and equipment.  This is backed up by a quality control department with several CMM machines and our ISO/QS/TE certified quality system.  We have a great deal of experience in machine repair and reverse engineering of worn or broken parts to produce a "like new" replacement.

We also perform short run production and prototype machining for our customers.
